The team acknowledges with deep gratitude and humility that this work spans the lands of over 200 distinct First Nations in what is colonially known as the Province of British Columbia. The co-leads live, work and play on the pacific west coast within the traditional, ancestral, unceded, and stolen territories of the Kʼómoks (Comox), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations of the Coast Salish people and the ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ (Tla-o-qui-aht), ʕaaḥuusʔatḥ (Ahousaht), hiškʷiiʔatḥ (Hesquiaht), Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ (Ucluelet), and tukʷaaʔatḥ (Toquaht) First Nations of the uučaan̓uł (Nuu-chah-nulth) people.
